Your Role
As Senior Manager Business Development, you will lead the Sales Team in Veenendaal while remaining actively involved in commercial activities. You will serve as a hands-on team leader and manage two Business Development Managers.
You operate at the intersection of local execution and group-wide strategy. The position reports directly to the Chief Business Officer (CBO) and requires close collaboration with senior commercial management at the group level.
Key Responsibilities
Leading, coaching, and developing the two International Account Managers (US and South America)
Acting as a hands-on commercial leader: visiting clients, generating leads, negotiating contracts, and expanding key accounts
Translating market insights into clear commercial strategies and operational plans
Close coordination with commercial leadership at the group level, including the CBO
Strengthening existing client relationships and identifying new international business opportunities
Regular international travel
Lead or contribute to local and global projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with applicable quality and safety standards (cGMP, GMP+, ISO9001, ISO14001)
What you bring to the table
Completed bachelor’s or master’s degree
Commercial or technical background with an affinity for chemistry, pharmaceuticals, or fine chemicals
Several years of experience in international B2B sales and demonstrable leadership experience
Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking skills
Excellent command of the English language
Willingness to travel internationally
Proactive, hands-on attitude

Salary between € 135k up to € 150k ote (base salary ,€ 7.000,- up tot € 8.250,- gross per month)(full-time), depending on relevant work experience
